iphone work on any network
hi

i just wanted to know before i bought an iphone if it would work with any network. i live in the uk and i wanted to know if i bought one off the internet and then put a vodafone sim card in would it work or would i have to unlock it as well?

it depends if you buy the phone unlocked online, if you buy directly through apple then you will have to get it unlocked. as of now you will need to get it unlocked to use on the vodafone network. unless apple already made a deal with vodafone.

Apple's iphone is having a deal in India with vodaphone, but i am not sure if they have a deal in Uk. You need to unlock the phone, if you buy it direct from apple's online store.
