unlockit.co.nz problem, need help

So here's the deal, I have wifi wherever I would need to use the internet on my phone, I disabled my data plan from AT&T and used unlockit.co.nz so I could avoid usage charges. After I used it, I checked to make sure it worked and sure enough 0 bytes were being transferred.

This is where the problem started.

I turned my WiFi on, connected to my home network which did connect successfully, but when I went to use any program using internet it says "Cannot connect: no data plan"

Does anybody know why this is happening since apparently WiFi doesn't use APN? Any help would be great
