problem with my 3G connection on my iphone

hey I recently got an unlocked iphone 3G and in the 1st night i used the 3G connection to surf the net and for mail and it worked, after few days and till now sometimes the 3G connection doesn't work while the WIFI works, now the iphone is not released officially here so may that be a problem? keeping in mind that i do use the 3G now but sometimes it just doenst work then works again, so what shall i do? is this normal?! thank you

I've personally never encountered a problem like that. I imagine if it has not been officially released there yet, then that very well may be causing the issue you are running into.
