| 2G phone, V2.0 firmware & GPS feature
I have heard 2 different claims. Casn anyone clarify if I download V2.0 to a 2G phone that is locked and not jail broken, will I not get the GPS feature? I am now hearing it only works on the 3G network, where someone else said I should get it it will just respond slower. I just purchased a used 2G since where I live the 3G network is not finished and I am not eligible for the new 3G for another year on my contract. Any help is appreciated. |

rlmadia, GPS is not available on iPhone 2G, even if you install the 2.0 firmware.
