What do you mean by an iPhone converter? Is it something that changes files into a different file type, so that you can use files that are incompatible with iPhone? Or, are you talking about some sore of accessory that makes the iPhone into yet another object, gadget, or something?

As ScottHughes said, what do you mean an iphone converter? Do you mean converting video and audio to be played on an iphone?

so these convert normal video into the iphone format? but does the quality suffer a lot, or it similar to the DivX format which is a really good rip of dvd's. |

"so these convert normal video into the iphone format? but does the quality suffer a lot, " >> Yes at least the utilities I have used Rip the DVD and create a QuickTime movie that will run on your iPhone. Quality?? That's up to you. Again, the utilities I've played with allow you to adjust the level of quality. The More Quality the BIGGER the Movie file will be and the more room it takes up on your iPhone. I'm using "PQ DVD to iPod" and I'm happy with what I have. I've not shown a movie to anyone who hasn't been impressed with the quality. My settings are 320x240 15 fps, Millions of colors and CD Quality sound. As an example the movie "Sahara" runs 2 hours and 3 minutes and is just over 400 MB in size. |

Thank you, I had trouble getting sound with a couple of DVDs using Cucusoft (and another brand I tried). Is there some special decoding that's needed with certain DVDs?
