| Kind of. Steve got fired by Apple when he was the head of their SuperMicro division. He founded NeXT in '85 and it went on until 1997. In 1997 Apple bought NeXT for $400M and 1.5M Shares of Apple. Steve Jobs got a job as an Apple Consultant. In 2000 he then became the CEO of Apple, and then the rest is history.

There are a lot of companies watching how thia iphone plays out and I can bet they are taking note of all the complaints as I sure Apple is too. I like the idea of the iphone but it's a work in progress.

Sounds like just the sort of thing Apple would do. Rest assured, people will get round it, as they did with the ipod.

That's one of the worst things in iphone. No support for java applications or any other such things. They should fix it in the next version for their own good.
