From what I understand apple will allow third party software, but developers will have to get approval through apple to release it, which is fine by me. Its just like a game console, any company can create a game but unless the console company approves it, it wont see the light of day.

Or it will in the form of an illegal download. Anyway, it's a bit early to be talking about all that side of it, my personal opinion is that the iPhone is dynamic enough to provide a great platform for a lot of hackers stuff. |

an open platform would be much preferred by almost all the ppl its just waht they need because various ppl have various likes and dislikes |

Apple likes to seal things up though, the lest sealed, the less secure.
