A bunch of questions after a couple of days with iPhone - Page 2

hi, first of all let me tell u guys that iam in mexico ,iam mexican so my english is not that good. But i do not know what else to do.
my iphone version1.2 its having sound problems it doesnt sound at all!!!!
the silent button doesnt works either and when i go to preferences and try to check on sounds it just get frozen and when it finally lets me in, the volume its all the way down and i try to change that but it just stays that way, please help me i do not know what else to docould it be some software issue or is most likely the iphone itself???

We cannt conclude whether it is a software or hardware issue.
It is more likely software issue, If you know how to upgrade it to the next level, you better try once.
