Blackberry 8820 competition for the iPhone ?

Research in Motion has just launched the new BlackBerry 8820, a dual-mode cell phone that is able to switch between cellular and WiFi networks to make calls and surf the web.

It will be available through AT&T later this summer and more can be found out about it at the following article...

I guess Research in Motion doesn't believe in the same hype that Apple believes in because we haven't heard much about this device. Whoever is in charge of marketing there needs to learn how to take advantage of the free advertising the media can provide to hype up their product.

I don't know much about the blackberry 8820 so I don't know if it will be real competition for the iPhone or not.
