Files found in iphone shed light on where next

Some have cracked open the iphone to get inside to have a look to see what they can find and there are a few files that shed light on where they are going next with the iphone.

AT&T/Cingular is US obviously.
Vodafone is likely for UK and much of Europe
T-Mobile is Germany as anounced

I wonder if Vodafone would count for Australia as well? *wishes its true*

Still, makes me wonder why they would leave such files on the iPhone.

Hey it could very well mean Australia as well. I'm sure they will be coming to Australia at some point in the future. I was just posting what was mentioned so if Vodafone is in Australia as well I would assume they will be the carrier of iphone if and when it gets there.

I also agree that it would eventually make it way to Australia unless something were to go seriously wrong and they recall all the phone and never release that again.

I can't believe that Apple would store that information in the iPhone that is only being released to ATT right now. If Apple is going to allow the iPhone to work on T-Mobile and Verizon before everybody's 2 year contract is up, people will be very upset.

It's in different countries. People in America would still be locked into ATT. Apple probably put the files on there as it was a lot easier, simpler and cheaper than changing depending on country.
