Just doing a search pulls up a bunch of iphone type domain names so will Apple try to go after them all? It's actually good publicity for them so I don't see why they would want to. everythingiphone.com iphone-updates.com iphonenews.ca Last edited by drew888; 07-05-2007 at 11:44 AM. |

I think the us trademark rules and domain names should be separate. Is Apple going to start to take down streets named Apple Ave and similar for Trademark infringement?

It's a slippery slope when trying to determine what infringes and what doesn't. They may go after some domains but not others. If they ignore some and not others, can those then say well why did they go after me and not them. I dont own any iphone names so I have nothing to worry about.

I was just checking ebay for domain names and there seems to be a bunch of people trying to sell iphone type domain names. Some of them don't even make sense. It's like they just threw iphone in front of every word they could think of.
