That is alot of people. Hopefully I wont have to wait in long, crowded lines to get an iphone only to be told that they are all sold out.

Just because so many Americans are interested in buying an iPhone, that doesn't mean they will. It costs a lot more than the average American can afford. Most Americans are in debt, so they don't have any money to spend on luxury items such as cutting-edge cellphones with special features.
