I am a 59-year old male and find my iPhone indispensable. You would be suprised at how many of us older folks work to stay current with the best productivity tools--such as the iPhone.
I waited for years, for Palm/Treo to get is act together. I'm glad I did not settle for their mature but so less capable platform.
