Post AT&T says received 1 mln inquiries on iPhone

Cingular Wireless, has received about 1 million inquiries about upcoming iPhone, AT&T Chief Operating Officer Randall Stephenson said on Tuesday.

That is a lot of inquiries. Most people do not bother to call a company with their interests and questions, so that 1 million people represents many more. I guess Apple is good at creating hype. I hope all the hype turns out to be justified. We will see when the iPhone is released.
