| Can you unlock the newest firmware??
Hey, I finally downloaded the newest update for the iphone and it seemed to lock my phone again. I have the older version of the iphone. Does anyone know how I can unlock it again?? I don't really care if I can jailbreak it, i barely use the installer anyways. Feel free to e-mail me at perogie1@hotmail.com thanks |

Yes you can unlock the newest firmware, try reupgrading again.

Are you are sure about that. I read somewhere that the latest firmware version does not work with the regular jailbreaking. Has anyone tried recently. Please share your experiences.

From what I've heard, if you try to update a hacked iPhone, Apple will brick it for good. So you might just have had broken your iPhone by updating it.

here is the info. Dev-Team Blog I think if you have updated the phone you need to wait before you can unlock it. you can still jailbreak it. you have to jailbreak it before you can unlock it. |
