| The incredibly shrinking memory used
After having the 3G for over a month I've loaded about 1900 songs into Itunes fror syncing to the 3G. At about 1200 songs I noticed the music was approaching 5GB used of roughly 7GB available. OK. Then something funny started to happen. Even though I have increased the number of songs on the iPhone the memory used for storage keeps shrinking - every time I sync now the memory used shrinks. I am now using 1.46 GB for my music???

Check if there are all songs in your itunes, it might be that some of your songs might have been deleted or have been replaced with the new ones.

Yeah definitely check...maybe an update for the iphone had made the songs take up less memory maybe? But I would definitely check to see if all of your songs are still there.
